A delegation representing Delhi’s villages led by Palam 360 chief Chaudhary Surender Solanki on Saturday met chief minister Rekha Gupta and discussed several crucial issues directly affecting the entire rural belt, and its inhabitants.
Solanki has said that the delegation apprised CM about the ongoing demolitions and sealing actions following some incidents in the recent past, adding that due to some wrong, all must not face extreme consequences.

According to Solankk, CM has assured there will be no demolition and actions on ground plus four floor structures, that are old, already existing in the villages and their extended habitations.
Solanki informed that CM has said that the village people should not be confused, or be scared and that they must inform government, in case any officers try to take unjust action.
The delegation also expressed gratitude towards CM for increasing the crop damage compensation for Delhi’s farmers to Rs 75000 per acre, which Solanki said was highest in country.
Speaking on circle rate and master plan matter, the rural leader informed that CM has assured that government will soon be announcing regarding the same.
The villages are currently witnessing transformation, and government has initiated several works towards development in the rural belt that had faced neglect since long.
